With a Toronto Marlies season seat holder event coming up next week at the Hockey Hall of Fame, I took my camera to last night’s game against Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL farm team for Philadelphia Flyers) to attempt some autograph-worthy photos.
Here are some of the better ones.
- Josh Leivo does his best to fool Christopher Gibson’s glove
- After brief stint away, returning D-man TJ Brennan prepares
- Newcomer William Nylander contemplates game ahead
- Mike Comrie was probably happier after his team won 4-3
- Christopher Gibson misses warm-up shot heading for photographer
- Antoine Bibeau gets his game face on in warm-up
- Josh Leivo and Greg McKegg find themselves without defenders
- Connor Brown gets his face washed by defender
- Duke shares a warm hug with a small fan
- Christopher Gibson didn’t get enough as puck flies into net
- Sam Carrick and Troy Bodie watch rebound sail
- Greg McKegg loses a faceoff but keeps fighting
- A slow dribbler is an easy stop for Rob Zepp
- Marlies Dance Crew make one fan a happy man
- Christopher Gibson can barely hold the puck against his chest
- Josh Leivo waits for Rob Zepp to drop the puck
- Greg McKegg causes trouble in front of Lehigh’s net
- Team management hangs with the Dog Pound
- Brendan Mikkelson head mans the puck while Christopher Gibson looks on
- Ryan Rupert is amused by the ref’s whistle
- Lehigh’s 3rd goal should have been goaltender interference penalty instead

Great photos! Hope you didn’t have to freeze your fingers to get them.
Ironically, the ice rink was vastly warmer than the great outdoors
Sad but I believe it!
