A thousand years ago (give or take), I listened to a radio theatre program called X Minus One, which told a story about a society that makes its first attempts to leave its planet only to slowly realize it lives within a bubble of water in our universe.
I have not been able to look at a dew droplet in quite the same way ever since.
I love dew drops. There are few things that are so perfectly imperfect. I spent hours one morning trying to get just the perfect shot of one. I finally did, and now I have no idea where it is. Beautiful post, thank you for sharing it.
Thanks for your comments.
The photo was taken in the middle of the day, so I was totally shocked when I cam across a patch of plants covered in dew. So happy it turned out.
I completely understand losing a favourite shot…recently rediscovered a photo I took of an orca I took years ago (negative, as well)
It always seems to be those shots that are once in a lifetime opportunities as well. Or maybe I only notice when those ones vanish. Still, so sorry though! I hope there are no further lost photos for either of us:(
I am going to have fun digging around your blog.
